Tim has always had a passion for shining on vehicles. But, it seems that his love for mechanical things over shadowed that passion. After high school, he attended a local college to obtain more knowledge in the field of agricultural mechanics. After one year, he was offered a chance to work at a local John Deere dealership. That was the start of a 23 year career with various John Deere dealerships in the area.
But after 23 years, it wasn't as much fun as it had been. Tim decided it was time to make a change. After carefull planning with the guidance of his wife/CPA/soulmate (Janie), he decided it was time to go back to what his first passion was: shining cars. Thus, in the fall of 2003, Double J Detailing was born.
"I've never looked back, and I've never regretted my decision. It was the best choice I could make" says Tim. "I've been ever so blessed to have my very supportive wife of 27 years, who has, along with the help of my two boys, Aaron and Brandon, made this the success that it has become. My Father-in-Law, Allan, has been with me every step of the way, going to schools and seminars with me, giving me advise, and always being there when I need a hand." And my Mother-in-Law, Cuma, has always been there to lend a hand too.
"To begin to thank everyone that has helped me over the years to grow this business, would be nearly impossible. Without the help of so many people, this couldn't have happened, and I'm forever indebted to each one. But ultimately, God is the one who deserves all the praise and glory forever, for through Him, all things are possible."
